This morning after breakfast went on a 3 hour jungle hike. No rain this time other than the sweat dripping off of me! 100% humidity is no joke! But I didn't even notice as there is so much to see. Was able to see squirrel monkeys, walking stick and other colorful insects, more frogs, tree types of butterflies, lots of frogs again, a couple hawks, heard some toucans but didn't see any. Also was finally able to coax a tarantula out of hiding. Seeing them in the wild is different than someone's cage. Very cool!
One thing I have learned is that anything beautiful is probably dangerous haha!
Also on this hike we met the Yagua tribe. A native Peruvian Amazon tribe. It was cool to see their historical meeting house and learning some of the culture. Try performed some dances (one of which I joined in) and also the anaconda dance to protect the hunters from snakes. They have us a demonstration of how they hunt with dart "guns" they were highly skilled. I have it a shot and was 1-2 hitting the target. Not too bad!
It was a great morning. The group of 7 I was dining with are leaving after lunch. They are heading to another lodge then cusco and train to MP and the Galápagos Islands! Another place on my list I want to visit!

I love to see the anaconda dance.
So my dance with the Dagara medicine man must have inspired you then!
Famous last words of Owen Wilson's character in the Oscar worthy movie Anaconda. Ice Cube was robbed for best supporting actor.
Well when the woman grabbed my hand I decided I better go. Didn't want to insult and fun myself on the wrong end of a dart gun. It was cool though.
